What can you NOT say about the Queen of WWE? Charlotte Flair is a 14-Time Champion and has been a thrill to watch for years and years. When you think about the fact that wrestling was not Charlotte Flair's first choice, it is mind blowing to see the competitor she has turned into today. Flair has the looks, the brains, the work ethic, the star power, and the consistency that it takes to captivate an audience and she proves it every time she is in the ring.

Charlotte Flair made her first appearance in a WWE ring back in 2012 on NXT. She would be alongside Sasha Banks and Summer Rae in a group called The BFF’s (Beautiful Fierce Females) and soon after their formation, she would defeat veteran Natalya for the first of her two NXT Women’s Championship reigns. Flair would then go on to have matches against the NXT Women’s roster until a historic Fatal 4 Way between Flair, Becky Lynch, Bayley, and Sasha Banks that saw Banks capture her first NXT Women’s Championship from Flair. Flair and Banks would go on to be the first women to main event NXT live events, along with many other firsts on the main roster.

In 2015, Flair would debut on Monday Night Raw the same night as Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks to light a fire in the Divas division. It would not take Flair long to take down her counterparts to defeat then longest reigning Divas Champion, Nikki Bella to win her first and only WWE Divas’ Championship. Flairs debut with Banks and Lynch would come full circle at WrestleMania 32 in Dallas Texas, as the three fought in a Triple Threat Match that would see the Divas Championship be retired and the first ever Raw Women’s Champion would be crowned.

Flair’s win as the first ever Raw Women’s Champion would be a foreshadowing of her career for years to come. Since her first title win, Charlotte Flair has won both Smackdown and Raw Women’s Championships on several different occasions, she has made her way back to NXT to capture a second NXT Women’s Championship, being one of only two women to do that along with Shayna Baszler. Flair would win the first ever Women’s Hell in a Cell match and main event Raw, Smackdown, NXT, and Pay Per Views/Premium Live Events. She was a part of the first 30-minute Iron Woman match to be on the WWE main roster, she participated in the first women’s Money in the Bank match, the first women’s Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match, as well as become a Grand Slam Champion being the only woman in WWE History to hold the NXT Women’s Championship, the Divas’ Championship, both Raw and Smackdown Women’s Championships, as well as the Tag Team Championship alongside partner at the time and longtime rival, Asuka. Not to mention, Charlotte Flair was one of the first three women alongside Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch to main event a WrestleMania.

Many will call her over-rated, over-pushed, or provide the excuse, “She only gets pushed because she’s Ric Flairs daughter.” Charlotte Flair has been on top since she came to WWE and that is not by design or script. When you look back at NXT in 2012 and see Charlotte Flair, the Queen in 2023, the growth in the competitor that she has become is exceptional. From her promos, to her in-ring work, Charlotte Flair has proven to be one of the most enthralling Superstars of Pro-wrestling today, and more recently dropped the Smackdown Women's Championship to Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania in what was unarguably one of the greatest matches of the entire weekend. Charlotte Flair has continued the Flair legacy and taken it to new heights. Now, we wait to see if Ric Flair will hold the record for being 16-time World champion or if his daughter Charlotte Flair will walk away with a 17th before her retirement one day.
